About Noah's Ark

Noah's Ark Dog Sanctuary is a rescue centre based in Mellieha. Our dedicated team of volunteers works tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs who have been abandoned, mistreated, or brought in due to changes in their owners' circumstances.

Most of our dogs are strays rescued from the streets of Malta, or surrendered by loving owners who can no longer care for them. Every dog in our care receives proper veterinary treatment, food, shelter, and most importantly — love and patience as they learn to trust again.

We are a small team that relies entirely on donations and volunteers. Every euro donated and every hour given goes directly toward giving these animals a better life.

AboutKai is one of our permanent residents. 🐾❤️ As our longest-term resident, Kai has become a special part of our shelter family. He is a very intelligent boy who takes time to trust new people and is only walked by a small number of volunteers he knows well. Kai would need a very experienced and dedicated owner willing to be patient and build a strong bond with him. Until that special person comes along, he will remain safe and loved in our care.

He enjoys being around people, walks beautifully on the leash, and is not reactive towards other dogs. 🏡 Ideal Home He would do best in a calm, loving home where he can enjoy his golden years in comfort. He needs a patient owner who will give him time to adjust and make him feel safe and secure again. 📝 What You Need to Know He is 9 years old and has recently lost his home, now adjusting to shelter life. Despite the change, he remains sweet, well-mannered, and trusting. He deserves a peaceful, forever home where he will be loved and never left behind again.
