About Noah's Ark

Noah's Ark Dog Sanctuary is a rescue centre based in Mellieha. Our dedicated team of volunteers works tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs who have been abandoned, mistreated, or brought in due to changes in their owners' circumstances.

Most of our dogs are strays rescued from the streets of Malta, or surrendered by loving owners who can no longer care for them. Every dog in our care receives proper veterinary treatment, food, shelter, and most importantly — love and patience as they learn to trust again.

We are a small team that relies entirely on donations and volunteers. Every euro donated and every hour given goes directly toward giving these animals a better life.

AboutBobby is one of our permanent residents and a very loved member of our shelter family. His previous homes unfortunately did not work out, and over time he has become settled and comfortable here with us. While we would never say no to the perfect experienced home for him, Bobby is happy, safe, and cared for here every single day. ❤️ He enjoys his daily walks, relaxing in his large pen, and spending time with the staff and volunteers he knows and trusts. He has built strong bonds with the people around him and loves his familiar routine and environment. Bobby is not good with small dogs and requires understanding and proper management, which is why we make sure he has the structure and care he needs. For now, he continues to enjoy a peaceful life surrounded by people who love him and want the very best for him. 🐾

He has a soft nature and continues to grow in confidence every day. 🏡 Ideal HomePhoenix would do best in a calm, patient home where he can feel safe and continue learning. He needs someone understanding who can help him with socialization and give him the time and reassurance he needs. 📝 What You Need to KnowPhoenix is not aggressive — he may bark at other dogs, but it’s just because he’s still learning and gaining confidence. With patience and love, he is improving every day and just needs a chance to experience what a true, loving home feels like.
