About Noah's Ark

Noah's Ark Dog Sanctuary is a rescue centre based in Mellieha. Our dedicated team of volunteers works tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs who have been abandoned, mistreated, or brought in due to changes in their owners' circumstances.

Most of our dogs are strays rescued from the streets of Malta, or surrendered by loving owners who can no longer care for them. Every dog in our care receives proper veterinary treatment, food, shelter, and most importantly — love and patience as they learn to trust again.

We are a small team that relies entirely on donations and volunteers. Every euro donated and every hour given goes directly toward giving these animals a better life.

Being just a year old, Chip is still full of puppy energy and can be quite strong and excitable. He loves cuddles, long walks, playtime, and soaking up all the attention he can get. ❤️ 🏡 Ideal Home Chip is looking for an active, experienced home that can provide the training, guidance, and structure he has never had. With consistency, patience, and plenty of exercise, he has all the potential to grow into an amazing companion. Due to his size and enthusiasm, he would be best suited to a home without very small dogs. 📝 What You Need to Know Chip gets along well with people, children, and other dogs. He is a big, friendly boy who simply never had the chance to learn good manners, so he can be bouncy and strong on the lead. He is good with other dogs and children, and with the right guidance he can build strong bonds with his people. 🏡 Ideal Home Rex needs an experienced and confident owner who can provide consistent training, leadership, and clear boundaries. He would do best in an active home where he can stay mentally and physically stimulated through exercise, structured routines, and continued training. Rex is not suited for a low-energy lifestyle and needs someone patient and committed who understands reactive dogs and is willing to help him build confidence and stability. 📝 What You Need to Know Rex is a reactive dog and will require an experienced handler who can continue working on his training and guide him correctly. He is extremely smart and eager to learn, but without structure he can become overstimulated and difficult to manage. He is good with other dogs and kids, but he is not suitable for a home with cats. They love their walks and move beautifully together. 🏡 Ideal Home They must be rehomed together, as separating them would be very hard on both. They would do best in a patient, understanding home where they can continue building confidence at their own pace.
