This website is operated by Noah's Ark Dog Sanctuary Malta, a dog rescue centre located at Triq Wied Musa, Mellieha MLH 7730, Malta. We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs in need. You can contact us at noahsarkmaltasanctuary@gmail.com.

2. What Data We Collect

This website does not collect any personal data from visitors. There are no tracking cookies, advertising networks, analytics services, or user accounts required to browse the site.

3. Facebook Integration

This website uses the Facebook Graph API to automatically sync public posts from our official Facebook Page (NoahsArkmalta) to the gallery section of this site.

Specifically:

  • We read publicly posted photos and captions from our own Facebook Page only.
  • We do not access any data from Facebook users, visitors, or followers.
  • We do not collect, store, or process any personal information from Facebook.
  • Images and post text are copied to our own server solely to display them in our gallery.

This integration uses the pages_read_engagement permission, which is read-only and limited to our own page content.

4. How We Use Your Data

Any technical data collected is used solely to keep the website running correctly and securely. We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties.

5. Data Retention

Server logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days and then deleted. Gallery images synced from Facebook are kept as long as they are relevant to our adoption and sanctuary updates.
